But most of her novels depicted industrialists (even in atlas shrugged) as altruists which is not true in a corporate culture. Probably she hated communism during her stay in russia. Thats why you can see her resentment in earlier novels like "We the living". Whatever she faced during her stay in russia might be pretty bad, but her take on capitalism is not the way she depicted. Of her three novels, we the living and atlas shrugged are thought provoking and depressing (in my opinion). Fountain head is more like building plot (at least in the sense of protagonist thoughts) for fountain head. It took me almost 2 months to come out of the effect/feelings after reading atlas shrugged. Very profound novel, i would say. well, objective philosophy chosen by Ayn rand affected many people in many ways. But, as an audience I don't care about how much of money are energy went in to the film. All I need is my money's worth. If I don't find that....that's a BAD FILM for me.
